Villa Gina is part of the portfolio owned by Bettina along with Ristorante La vista and Albergo Milano.

They are located 15 minutes away in the old part of Varenna, in via XX Settembre 35.

It is not possible to come to Albergo Milano for breakfast.

All the apartments in the Villa are self-catering only, upon reservation, a Breakfast Started Pack can be delivered.

The breakfast starter pack includes: milk, eggs, bread, cereal, cold cuts, cheese, jam, butter, fresh fruit, juice.

The villa is just 5 minutes walking distance from the train station, check the CONTACTS section on the website for further details. There is a sign with the name of each apartment next to each gate. If you do not see the name of the apartment that you have booked you are not at the correct entrance.

All the apartments have different gates and different door codes. If your apartment has self-check-in please make sure to check the house number and the name of the apartment on the sign at the gate.

The entrance of Casa Ginevra and Casa Luna are located close to each other in via per Esino 6 in the front of the Villa, look for the sign next to gate.

Casa Carlotta is the apartment in the attic of the villa and in order to access it you have to get to the rear of the Villa. First you pass the other apartments entrances, then after the big curve you keep walking 50 more meters to reach via per Esino 10.

It is a 5 minutes’ walk from Varenna-Esino train station to the Villa to reach Apartment Luna and apartment Ginevra. The road is short but uphill, on the main road leading to Esino.

Apartment Carlotta is located past apartment Ginevra, all the rear of the villa.

The uphill part is a bit longer, but the view will reward your effort.

We have a private garage at the Villa, please request in advance your spot if you are planning to come by car. In alternative the train station has a big parking space with an hourly fee.

Villa Gina has three apartments of different sizes depending on your needs.

Apartment Ginevra is the only apartment with a in person check-in.

Check-in is available upon agreed appointment only between 15.00 to 18.00. Few exceptions on the time can be made if available.

Apartment Carlotta and Luna are self-check-in. Instruction will be sent prior arrival.

We can offer luggage storage in the garage box, at the villa. To access it you will be given a code.

An assistance phone number will be given prior arrival. Bettina, Elisabetta and Alice are available to answer and help out, when possible, from 8.00 a.m to 10 p.m. We suggest to download Whatsapp app to your phone as it is the quickest way to communicate prior arrival and during your stay.

No, unfortunately all the apartments of the villa have stairs to get to the entrance. We do not recommend Villa Gina also for guests with mobility issues.

Ristorante La Vista is managed by Albergo Milano srl and belongs to the same owner. The restaurant  is located in the old part of Varenna, in via XX Settembre 35 inside Albergo Milano. It is possible to book a table when booking directly through our website or you can request availability during your stay.

The restaurant is open to the guests of the Albergo, Villa Gina and to the public. Booking ahead of time is strongly recommended as we often are fully booked.

No. Unfortunately is not possible to request a specific table due to the high demand. If the weather allows, we keep the terrace open and we sit all guests outside but specific seating can’t be requested.
